You can change the branding of your SmartVault Portal by adding your logo and customizing the look and feel of your subdomain, sign-in page, header, color schemes, and emails.
Customizing SmartVault Portal Branding
Important
To apply custom branding, you must specify a subdomain name.
- Sign in to the SmartVault Portal.

Access the Settings page:

For most plans: Click the initials at the top right corner of the page, and then select Settings.
- For Standard Plan users: Click the Settings gear icon at the top right corner of the page.

For most plans: Click the initials at the top right corner of the page, and then select Settings.
- Under Manage Portal Styling, click Custom Branding.
- Make your desired changes, as instructed below, and then click Save.
Note
To reset the SmartVault Portal back to the original settings, click Restore Defaults.
Customizing Your Subdomain
You must specify a subdomain name for your custom-branded portal for user access. By default, your subdomain is set to my.smartvault.com, but you can replace it with a subdomain of your choice. For example, a subdomain for EZ Taxes could be eztaxes.smartvault.com.
To add a subdomain, enter your subdomain in the text box and click Add.
To remove a subdomain, click Remove.
Customizing Your Sign-In Page
For a more customized experience, you can change what your users see when they sign into your SmartVault Portal, including the sign-in text, background, text, and link colors.
To customize your Sign-In page:

Sign In Pages Logo: Upload a custom logo that will appear at the top of your sign-in page.
- Click Choose file, locate your logo on your computer, and click Upload.
- The recommended image dimensions for the logo are 296x136 pixels. The logo cannot exceed 340 pixels in width or 136 pixels in height.
- Header Text: Enter a new login page title in the Header Text field. The maximum number of characters is 20.
- Body Text: Enter a brief message or instructions in the Body Text field. The maximum number of characters is 60.

Sign In Button and Link Color: Select a color for the Sign In button and "Forgot password?" link to match your brand.
- Enter the HEX color code in the field or use the color picker.
- This color will be applied to both the Sign In button and the "Forgot password?" link.
- Select a color that matches your custom logo for consistent branding.

Customizing Your Outgoing Email Messages
You can also change the settings for the outgoing email messages sent from your SmartVault Portal, including the header logo and closing text message. A subdomain is required to use a custom email header logo.
To change the email header logo:
- Click Choose File and locate your logo.
- Click Upload.
Note
The email logo must be a .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .tif, or .tiff file and no larger than 340 px in width and 60 px in height.
Changing the Email Closing Text (or signature)
In the Email Closing Text field, enter up to 1024 characters. You can use this field to add a signature or any additional information you want to display at the end of each message automatically.
Adding Disclosure Statement Text
In the Disclosure Statement Text field, enter your default disclosure statement, and click Load Default Disclosure. Make sure that you replace any text currently in the field.
