QuickBooks Online: Supported Transactions for Document Attachments

GENERAL USER

With the SmartVault toolbar for QuickBooks Online, you can attach and store documents directly on many transaction and record types. Attached files land in your SmartVault vault under:

Applications\Quickbooks Online\Documents

Below is the list of transactions where the toolbar is available, along with examples of what you might attach.

  Important Notes

    • Entries marked with an asterisk (*) must be created and saved in QuickBooks Online before the Upload (paper-clip) appears.
    • Entries marked with two asterisks (**) will be supported in a future release.
    • You cannot attach documents to types not listed above.
